The iPhone 16 is on the horizon, and among consumers who are getting ready to make the purchase plunge, they have one question: “What’s the iPhone 16’s price?”
The good news is that, according to a forecast report from TrendForce, the iPhone 16 entry-model is expected to have the same starting price of $799. Same for the iPhone 16 Plus; it’s expected to match the iPhone 15 Plus.
However, when it comes to the upper-tier models, there may be a different story.
iPhone 16 price: How much will it cost?
According to TrendForce, here are the prices for the iPhone 16 models:
-
iPhone 16 Plus (128GB) – $899
-
iPhone 16 Plus (256GB) – $999
-
iPhone 16 Plus (512GB) – $1,199
Mashable Light Speed
-
iPhone 16 Pro (256GB) – $1,099
-
iPhone 16 Pro (512GB) – $1,299
-
iPhone 16 Pro (1TB) – $1,499
-
iPhone 16 Pro Max (256GB) – $1,199
-
iPhone 16 Pro Max (512GB) – $1,399
-
iPhone 16 Pro (1TB) – $1,599
As mentioned, it appears that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will match their predecessors’ starting price. However, the iPhone 16 Pro is getting a price hike — kind of.
With the iPhone 16 Pro series, you can no longer snag a 128GB model for $999, according to TrendForce. Rumor has it that Apple is eliminating the 128GB variant for the iPhone 16 Pro, making the 256GB configuration the new base model. (Something similar happened with the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year.)
In other words, the cheapest iPhone 16 Pro you can get is a 256GB variant that will set you back $1,099.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have the same starting price as its predecessor: $1,199.
