All of America’s most gullible and Facebook-addicted uncles probably believe Kamala Harris is holding communist rallies.
Former President Donald Trump has taken to using AI images to that effect in an apparent effort to get his latest insult nickname to stick. He’s taken to calling the VP “Comrade Kamala,” which, frankly, sounds too cool to be an insult. Right-wingers have also begun calling Harris “commie-la.” The attack centers on tying Harris’ economic plans to communism.
So that’s all to explain why Trump posted perhaps the most obviously AI-generated image of all time. It features Harris speaking in a place labeled Chicago — where the DNC is being held — with communist flags and red propaganda everywhere.

While AI hasn’t necessarily proven to upend the world as some evangelists suggested, it has already made its mark on the 2024 presidential election. Trump, especially, seems to be leaning into it. Look around the internet, and you’ll see Trump fans creating a number of strange AI creations, either celebrating their candidate or denigrating Harris.
