National Ice Cream Day 2024 is on Sunday, July 21.
To get into the “holiday” spirit, several chains and franchises are offering free food and deals on Sunday and beyond.
Here are some of the deals and freebies you can get this week.

7-Eleven: 7Rewards loyalty program members can get 7-Select Ice Cream Sandwiches for $1 now through July 23.
Baskin Robbins: From July 21-27, get $5 off any order of $20 when ordering online using the code SEIZETHEYAY. Customers can also scan their in-app coupon in Baskin Robbins shops.
Burger King: Throughout National Ice Cream Month, which takes place throughout July, Royal Perks loyalty program members can get a soft serve cone or cup for 150 Crowns instead of 250 crowns.
Carvel: Get $6 off orders of $35 or more on Uber Eats and DoorDash (limited to DashPass subscribers) from now through July 21.
Cold Stone Creamery: My Cold Stone Club Rewards program members can get $5 off any purchase of $10 (before taxes) from now through July 23 on purchases in-store, online and in the app. Text FLOAT24 to LOVEIT and the reward will be in your account.
Dairy Queen: DQ Rewards loyalty program members can get a free Dilly Bar on July 21 with any DQ Rewards order of $1 or more. Must have the DQ App and sign up for DQ Rewards to get the offer.
Dippin’ Dots: Get free mini cups of Dippin’ Dots at 120 locations nationwide on July 21. Check with your local store when the freebies will be given out, since it will take place during a two hour window. You can find a location here. Plus, get 25% off all online orders on July 21. Friendly’s: From now through July 21, get 89 cent single-scoop ice cream cones. Plus, Friendly’s fans who join the Fan Club app will receive $2 Fribbles from now through July 31.
Insomnia Cookies: From now through July 21, members of the Insomnia Cookies rewards program can get a free cup of ice cream with two scoops with any purchase. Plus, rewards members can earn 2X points all week.
