Ben Stiller and director David Gordon Green (helmer of the new Halloween trilogy and The Exorcist: Believer) deliver their take on crass comedies like Uncle Buck in the upcoming film Nutcrackers.
The film’s first trailer introduces us to Michael (Stiller), a man who must take care of his four nephews (played by real-life brothers Homer, Ulysses, Atlas, and Arlo Janson) after their parents’ sudden passing. Michael is no match for these four roughhousers, who let out nuclear farts, kill and cook a chicken for a squeamish Michael, and even beg him for The Talk. Oh, and since Nutcrackers is set at Christmastime, brace yourselves for a wild rendition of The Nutcracker that only a child’s brain could cook up. Will Michael be able to find his nephews a new family home? Or will this quartet worm their way into his heart before he has to return to his city life?
Nutcrackers hits Hulu Nov. 29.
