The teaser for new Peacock series Teacup doesn’t give too much away, but one thing is clear: Something is out there in the darkness of rural Georgia, and it seems intent on picking off the family that lives there one-by-one.
Based on Robert McCammon’s 1988 best-selling novel Stinger, eight-episode series Teacup has a solid team behind it: The showrunner is Yellowstone‘s Ian McCulloh, its opening episodes are directed by The Haunting of Bly Manor‘s E.L. Katz, and it’s executive produced by horror legend James Wan. Yvonne Strahovski, Scott Speedman, Chaske Spencer, Kathy Baker, Boris McGiver, Caleb Dolden, Emilie Bierre, and Luciano Leroux star.
Teacup is streaming on Peacock from Oct. 10, with two new episodes weekly.
